What does social housing roofing include?
Our roofing work covers full pitched re-roofs in tile and slate, flat roof replacement, roofline renewal (fascias, soffits, guttering and downpipes), chimney repairs and planned roof repairs across an estate. Every roof starts with a survey. Where the work triggers an insulation upgrade under Part L of the Building Regulations, we install it as part of the same job, along with the roof ventilation it needs.

Why landlords commission roofing works
Councils, housing associations and contractors bring us in when:
Stock condition surveys show roofs reaching the end of their life
Leaks are causing damp and mould that needs fixing at the source
A live re-roofing programme needs extra delivery capacity
Roofing and insulation upgrades need delivering together to cut cost and disruption
Slipped tiles, failed flashings or rotten roofline keep generating repair calls
Why housing providers choose us
Here's what you get when we deliver your roofing programme:
One scaffold for roofing, insulation and solar, not three
Part L insulation upgrades and roof ventilation handled by retrofit specialists
Compliance-led delivery with photos and completion records for every property
One point of contact and resident liaison from survey to handover
Proven on social housing programmes for councils, housing associations and contractors
Survey and specification
We survey the roof, roofline and loft, check the asbestos register and confirm the specification with you, including any Part L insulation upgrade and ventilation the roof needs.
Scaffold, strip and re-roof
We scaffold, strip back to the rafters or deck and install the new roof, roofline and insulation, leaving the home watertight at the end of every day. Residents get start dates in advance and a named contact.
Sign-off and handover
We inspect and snag the roof, complete Building Regulations sign-off and hand over with photos, completion records and guarantee documents for your files.

What roofing work do you cover?
Pitched re-roofing in tile and slate, flat roof replacement, fascias, soffits, guttering and downpipes, chimney repairs and planned roof repairs. We can also upgrade loft and room in roof insulation and fit solar PV as part of the same job.
Does re-roofing mean upgrading the insulation?
Often, yes. Under Part L of the Building Regulations, renovating more than half of a roof usually means bringing the whole roof's insulation up to current standards, where that's technically and economically feasible. We're an insulation installer as well as a roofer, so we fit the upgrade and the ventilation it needs in the same visit.
Can you combine roofing with solar and other retrofit work?
Yes. Scaffolding is a big part of the cost of any roofing job, so we plan roofing, insulation and solar PV around a single scaffold. That means less disruption for residents and one mobilisation instead of several.
Can residents stay at home during the works?
Yes. Roofing happens outside the home, so residents stay in throughout. Where we need to work in the loft or a room in roof, we protect floors and belongings and keep that part of the job as short as possible.
Do you work for main contractors?
Yes. We work directly for councils and housing associations, and as a roofing delivery partner to tier one contractors, working to your specification, suppliers and reporting.
What areas do you cover?
We cover the North East, North West, Yorkshire and the Humber, the East and West Midlands, the East of England and Wales, from our head offices in Beverley and Warrington.
