What are energy assessments?
Energy assessments provide detailed analysis of your property's energy performance, identifying heat loss, efficiency opportunities and compliance requirements. Our Level 3 qualified assessors evaluate insulation, heating systems, windows and overall building performance to produce clear reports and EPC certificates.
Whether you need an EPC for rental compliance, a baseline before a retrofit programme, or verification after improvements, our assessments provide the certified documentation you need.

How long does an energy assessment take?
A typical domestic property assessment takes 1-2 hours on-site, depending on property size and complexity. Commercial and multi-property assessments may require additional time. You'll receive your EPC certificate within 24-48 hours and the full assessment report within one week.
What’s the difference between an EPC and a retrofit assessment?
An EPC (Energy Performance Certificate) gives a snapshot of a property's current energy efficiency rating. A retrofit assessment goes further, analysing improvement potential and recommending which measures to install, in what order.
Do I need an energy assessment before retrofit work?
For most retrofit programmes, yes. Publicly funded and PAS 2035 projects need an assessment before installation and verification afterwards. For private work it is the best way to make sure you install the right measures first.
Do you work for councils, housing associations and contractors?
Yes. We deliver energy assessments and EPCs for councils, housing associations and main contractors, from single properties to larger programmes.
Do you provide EPCs for rental properties?
Yes. We produce EPCs for landlords who need one to let a property, as well as assessments for retrofit planning.
What areas do you cover?
We cover the North East, North West, Yorkshire and the Humber, the East and West Midlands, the East of England and Wales, from our head offices in Beverley and Warrington.
